    Kansas City Personal Injury Attorney

    Caitlin Stephenson Porto is a litigation attorney with our Kansas City product liability attorneys. Prior to joining the firm, Caitlin practiced for five years with the Missouri Public Defender's office litigating complex criminal cases in Jackson County, Missouri. There she managed a docket of up to 50 cases per court appearance that consisted of a variety of serious felonies. She successfully tried numerous high-profile cases with positive results for her clients.

    In addition to her work with Bertram & Graf, L.L.C., she is a contract attorney for a nonprofit domestic violence shelter that provides free legal services and support to survivors of domestic violence residing in Jackson, Platte, Clay and Cass counties in Missouri.

    Caitlin is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Law where she was a recipient of the Second Century Scholarship. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Avila University, where she was on the Dean’s List for four years and was a leading scorer and rebounder as starting power forward for the Avila Women’s Basketball Team. Caitlin was a NAIA Scholar Athlete and NAIA All-American while at Avila.

    A member of the Missouri and Texas Bars, Caitlin currently focuses her practice on criminal defense and pharmaceutical products liability representing plaintiffs.

    A native of Dallas, Texas, Caitlin lives in Kansas City with her husband Tom Porto, who is also an attorney, and their Labrador, Apollo.
